Role Description
The Salesperson role is a full-time position based in Aylesbury. The Salesperson will identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with existing and potential customers, and recommend appropriate powered access solutions based on client needs.

Daily Responsibilities

- Managing inquiries
- Preparing quotations
- Following up on leads
- Coordinating closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services
The role involves:
- Explaining equipment features and benefits
- Promoting sales packages and contract hire options
- Supporting clients with training and inspection services
Additionally, the Salesperson will:
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Meet sales targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to understand and explain technical product features, ideally with experience in powered access, construction, or industrial equipment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in speaking to diverse customers from site managers to business owners.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing pipelines, priorities, and accurate record-keeping.
- Comfort using basic digital tools such as CRM systems, email, and office productivity software to track and report sales activity.
- Proactive, results-focused mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit customer sites and attend meetings as required.
- Previous experience in B2B sales is preferred; experience in access platforms or related industries is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational training or education in sales, business, or a related field is beneficial.
