Sam has built his career at the intersection of technology, governance, and leadership, advising organisations including KPMG, Grant Thornton, and BDO on technology risk, regulatory investigations, and complex organisational challenges. He later became CEO of a fast-growing technology startup, gaining first-hand experience of leading innovation in a high-growth environment. Having worked across both global professional services firms and entrepreneurial technology businesses, he understands the distinct leadership challenges of complex, regulated organisations as well as fast-moving, disruptive environments.

Sam’s path into coaching began when he repeatedly observed organisations attempting to solve fundamentally human challenges through processes and technology alone. Recognising that lasting change depends as much on psychology, culture, and leadership as on systems, he began integrating non-directive coaching into his advisory work before moving full-time into executive coaching. His approach is warm, intellectually rigorous, and highly adaptive, encouraging clients to challenge assumptions, navigate complexity with confidence, and lead with greater clarity and purpose.

Today, Sam combines this extensive experience with executive coaching, helping senior leaders navigate the leadership challenges created by AI transformation, technological disruption, and increasing regulatory complexity. His distinctive combination of coaching expertise and deep knowledge of technology governance makes him particularly well placed to support executives in financial services, professional services, and other highly regulated sectors, where innovation, risk, and human judgment must be carefully balanced.
