Sampling Technician - (Industrial Wastewater Treatment Projects)
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide practical, operational and technical support for environmental consultancy projects on commercial, industrial, municipal wastewater and sludge processing projects. You will be contributing to a variety of consultancy project types through process sampling and basic analysis techniques.
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate would be someone who has gained relevant practical experience, with an interest in providing practical solutions to environmental improvement.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in the field. The role will be primarily site based. The candidate must be willing to travel to a range of sites throughout the UK.

Essential skills and experience:
- Health and safety awareness of working on a range of sites.
- Field experience involving sample collection and use of sampling machines and flow meters.
- Good communicator, coordinating with various teams and to your line manager
- Willing to work outdoors and collect and analyse wastewater samples
- Full clean UK driver’s license and access to own vehicle essential
Preferable skills and experience:
- Practical experience of working on industrial sites/water utility sites
- Awareness of H&S requirements for working on sites (RAMS, permits, inductions)
- Lab testing skills would be preferable but not essential, training will be provided.
- Interest and awareness of environmental issues
