Role Description

The Desk-Based Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chertsey, responsible for managing and growing relationships with key client accounts through phone, video, and digital channels. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, responding to queries, coordinating activities, and ensuring that service levels and performance targets are met. The Desk-Based Account Manager will analyze account performance data, prepare regular reports, and identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize engagement programs.

  • Collaborating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and training to deliver campaigns, resolve issues, and implement account plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, following agreed processes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that support client and company goals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in account management or customer success, including building long-term client relationships and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly via phone, email, and video, and to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar, MS Office/Google Workspace) and confidence working with data and reports.
  • Solid commercial awareness, including understanding of sales processes, KPIs, and how to identify and develop growth opportunities within accounts.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and training teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on finding practical solutions, improving processes, and enhancing client experience.
  • Previous experience in retail, technology, or customer engagement environments is advantageous; experience in considered purchase or brand activation is a
