Umbrella - £16.61 per hour - Umbrella
Job Purpose
As a Christmas Event Team Member (Welsh Speaking), you will play a key role in delivering a magical festive experience at Santa's Toy Mine at Rhondda Heritage Park. Working alongside Santa and the Elf team, you will engage with families and children, helping to create memorable Christmas experiences while providing excellent customer service in both Welsh and English.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Welcome and engage with families visiting Santa's Toy Mine.
- Support Santa in delivering a magical and memorable festive experience.
- Act as the main point of contact when groups are handed over by the Elf team.
- Communicate confidently with children and adults in both Welsh and English.
- Help manage the flow of visitors through the Christmas experience.
- Create a fun, friendly, and professional environment for all visitors.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Support event operations and visitor experience activities.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the successful running of the Christmas event.
- Promote a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the attraction.

Essential Experience Required
- Fluent Welsh speaker.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Experience engaging with children and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
- Ability to work in a busy visitor attraction or events environment.

Essential Qualifications Required
- Fluent Welsh language skills.
- Right to Work in the UK.
Additional Information to Note
- Working hours: Approximately 260 hours across the event period.
- Location: Rhondda Heritage Park Museum, CF37 2NP.
- Reason for Hire: One-Off Event / Christmas Project.
- Weekend shifts attract enhanced pay rates.
- Hours and shifts will be allocated according to the event schedule.
- On-site interview and site tour.
- Interview Date: 27th October 2026.
- Supplier Submission Deadline: 20th October 2026.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
