About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP AI Delivery Lead to drive the implementation and operationalisation of AI-powered capabilities across our SAP landscape. This role sits at the intersection of Enterprise Technology, SAP Platforms, and Finance Technology, and is responsible for delivering SAP Business AI, Joule, and SAP BTP AI Services from initial rollout through to stable, live operations.
You will lead cross-functional delivery teams, manage stakeholder relationships across Finance and Technology, and ensure AI capabilities are embedded reliably and securely into day-to-day SAP operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP AI initiatives, including SAP Business AI, Joule (SAP’s AI copilot), and SAP BTP AI Services, from design through go-live and transition to live operations.
- Own the delivery roadmap and implementation plan, coordinating across SAP functional teams, Finance Technology, and Enterprise Technology stakeholders.
- Manage the full project lifecycle: requirements definition, solution design, configuration/build oversight, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for AI-enabled SAP capabilities, ensuring smooth handover from project delivery to run/support teams.
- Partner with Finance Technology stakeholders to align AI use cases with finance process needs (e.g. automation, forecasting, anomaly detection).
- Manage third-party implementation partners and SAP where applicable, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Establish governance, risk, and change management processes for AI features operating within core SAP systems.
- Drive adoption and change management activities to ensure business users effectively leverage new AI capabilities.
- Define and track KPIs/success metrics for AI delivery, reporting progress to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to AI within enterprise systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
