Job Summary
The Ariba role is a key role within the NTT DATA Business Solutions (NDBS) Spend Management practice. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team responsible for the design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customer base and to meet our customer’s needs. As an Expert you will support customer engagements and perform delivery of the SAP Ariba solutions working alongside Solution Architects, Project Managers and the Integration Team to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions integrated into core SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Work closely with customer and project teams to translate business requirements into a solution that takes advantage of the SAP Ariba capabilities within the overall solution landscape.
- Leads and coordinates integrated workshops with detail and complexity with Senior Stakeholders in the customer business.
Provide thought leadership to NDBS and its customers focused on procurement strategy, based on SAP Ariba solutions and the SAP Ariba product roadmap.
- Adhering to the agreed NDBS strategy, engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments to ensure NDBS remains at the forefront of the market within which we operate. Share, use and communicate expert knowledge in order to develop others and make business processes more effective.

Experience of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Sourcing, Procurement and Accounts Payable processes would be advantageous.
Required Skills/Abilities

- Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully delivering customer projects and providing SAP Ariba solutions for the resolution of complex requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders; within NDBS locally and globally, external customers, suppliers and partners to become a trusted advisor in your field of expertise.
- Demonstrates gravitas and personal integrity, is able to overcome unforeseen situations and keeps business objectives in mind. Drives results, effects, convinces and inspires by his/her personality, behavior and communication style. Is a role model and ambassador.
- Makes solid and reliable decisions in complex environments.
- Has a thirst for learning and staying on top of the evolving technology landscape. Actively shares and transfers own expertise and operational knowledge using a structured method, thus making it useful and functional.
