Role Overview
Client is seeking an experienced SAP BPC Functional Consultant to support SAP BPC 10.1 migration to Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support BPC Functional Validation during and after the lift-and-shift migration, confirming existing business behaviour is unchanged
- Validate planning models, forecasting models, business rules, and calculation logic (cashflow, labour, overheads, financing, margin, indexation) post-migration
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and Performance Testing from a functional perspective, driving defect fixing
- Support client during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing functional walkthroughs and defect resolution
- Validate reporting, dashboards, input schedules/templates, and Business Process Flows (BPFs) function as expected in the migrated environment
- Support data reconciliation between source and target BPC environments
- Support cutover planning and provide functional coverage during Go-Live and Hypercare (4 weeks)

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on functional experience with SAP BPC 10.1 (NetWeaver-based), including business rules, script logic, and Data Manager packages
- Experience with consolidation logic (currency translation, intercompany eliminations) where relevant
- Familiarity with EPM/Excel input templates and BPC security administration (task profiles, member access)
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT and defect resolution during a BPC migration or upgrade
- Strong communication skills to work directly with client’s business/finance team on period-end cycles and UAT sign-off
- Experience with Azure-hosted SAP landscapes a plus
