SAP Business Analyst (FI/CO Focus)

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Permanent

Full-time On Site, 5 days per week - Congleton area

SAP Business Analyst (FI/CO Focus) - Permanent - Full-time On Site - Congleton area - £50,000 - £60,000

TalentBank Technology is retained by a well-established manufacturing business in the Congleton area to appoint a permanent SAP Business Analyst with a strong FI/CO focus. This is a long-term, in-house career move - not a stepping stone, not a short-term engagement, and not a fit for anyone looking for their next contract.

The business is early in an SAP S/4HANA implementation, moving off legacy systems and building new finance-led processes from the ground up. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and the finance team, building genuine hands-on SAP experience with a clear, structured path to take ownership of the BA function permanently as the business grows into its new system.

This role suits someone circa 3-5 years into their career who has worked as a Business Analyst on an SAP implementation, ideally with good exposure to the FI module, and who is looking to settle into a long-term, permanent role with one employer rather than continue moving between projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
