Role Overview

This role is central to translating complex financial and operational business processes into effective IT and SAP-based solutions. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems are aligned with and enhance core business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications
  • Document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) business processes
  • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Develop system blueprints outlining design and configuration
  • Build and validate prototypes with stakeholders
  • Manage and execute data migration from legacy systems
  • Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities, including unit testing and UAT
  • Coordinate and support Go-Live activities, providing immediate post-implementation support
  • Develop and deliver end-user training programmes
  • Create user manuals and system documentation
  • Monitor system performance post-implementation and identify opportunities for process optimisation and enhancement

Requirements

Essential skills & experience

  • SAP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience across SAP modules including FICO, MM, and SD
  • Business Analysis: Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into IT solutions
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical, interpretation, and reporting skills
  • System Integration: Experience integrating multiple business systems and applications
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with modern cloud-based platforms and solutions
  • Database Knowledge: Working knowledge of relational database management systems
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
  • Project Management: Experience planning, executing, and delivering IT projects successfully
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment with emerging technologies
