Job Summary
At Insulet, our mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes through innovative technology. As we continue to scale globally, we are seeking an experienced SAP Business Process Principal - Supply Chain to lead the design, standardisation and optimisation of our end-to-end supply chain processes across a complex international manufacturing and distribution network.
This is a high-impact role for a supply chain transformation leader who understands how manufacturing businesses operate and how SAP can be leveraged to create efficient, scalable and compliant processes. You will play a key role in shaping our SAP S/4HANA roadmap while partnering with Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and IT teams across multiple countries.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of SAP-enabled supply chain processes across manufacturing, planning, inventory, warehousing and distribution.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state processes and deliver SAP S/4HANA capabilities that support operational excellence.
- Drive process harmonisation across multiple manufacturing sites and distribution centres.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions that improve efficiency, visibility and decision-making.
- Support global SAP transformation and deployment initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and change management.
- Develop business cases, process maps, requirements documentation, testing strategies and training materials.
- Ensure effective integration between SAP and supporting platforms including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), planning solutions and other supply chain technologies.
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled process improvement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on supply chain capabilities, process design and industry best practices.

What we're looking for
We are looking for a supply chain professional who combines deep operational understanding with experience leading global SAP-enabled transformation programmes.
You will bring:
- Experience leading or playing a significant role in global SAP ERP implementations, upgrades or transformation programmes within manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including:
- Demand planning and forecasting
- Supply planning
- Production planning
- Materials planning and inventory management
- Warehousing and distribution
- Intercompany and global supply chain operations
- Experience supporting complex manufacturing organisations with multiple sites, product lines and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of materials management, planning processes and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Experience driving process standardisation and change across international, cross-functional organisations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable business and system solutions.
Particularly valuable experience
- SAP S/4HANA supply chain implementations.
- Planning and manufacturing environments involving components, assemblies and parts manufacturing.
- Experience with inventory management, warehouse management, transportation or integrated business planning solutions.
- Regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences or other highly controlled manufacturing sectors.
- Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications
- We welcome candidates who have developed their expertise through a combination of education and practical experience
- A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline is beneficial but equivalent experience will be considered
- SAP certifications and formal process improvement qualifications are advantageous but not essential
