About the job you’re considering

An exciting opportunity to join Capgemini’s UK SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) and help shape the marquee SAP transformation journeys in the UK market, as part of one of the world’s largest SAP partners.

Our UK SAP CoE is part of a global network of SAP specialists dedicated to helping clients unlock value through innovative, AI-enabled SAP solutions. Capgemini offers a unique set of capabilities in the SAP market: end-to-end business and technology consulting, applications management, business process outsourcing, and – with Syniti (a component of SAP’s Integrated Toolchain) now part of the Group – market-leading data migration and governance.

As SAP Business Development & Presales Director, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing these capabilities to shape business-led, AI-enabled solutions for some of the UK’s largest SAP transformation programmes. You will build trusted relationships with client C-suite executives and senior leaders, originate and qualify opportunities, lead strategic pursuits, and help define the propositions that drive the continued growth of Capgemini’s SAP business.

Working closely with account teams, SAP, our wider partner ecosystem and our global delivery organisation, you will help clients across industries navigate complexity, accelerate business transformation and realise measurable outcomes.

Your role

As a Presales Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Business development and growth – Developing and converting a strong pipeline of SAP transformation opportunities across existing and new clients.
  • Executive client engagement – Building trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders.
  • Business transformation shaping – Framing client transformation agendas and business cases, working with our business transformation, industry and change capabilities to connect SAP-enabled technology change to measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • Pursuit leadership – Leading SAP pursuits from qualification through to contract award, directing or working within multi-disciplinary pursuit teams to shape differentiated client propositions.
  • Solution innovation – Shaping AI-enabled SAP transformation solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, leveraging and evolving Capgemini assets, accelerators and global delivery capabilities.
  • Commercial and delivery integrity – Ensuring solutions are deliverable and commercially sound, and handing over to delivery leadership with scope, assumptions and client expectations clearly understood and owned.
  • Key account development – Working with account leadership to shape our most significant SAP accounts, building lasting client relationships and identifying follow-on opportunities as programmes progress.
  • Market and alliance leadership – Playing a key role in Capgemini’s strategic relationship with SAP and other ecosystem partners, and representing Capgemini at client events, SAP forums and industry thought leadership activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
