Role: SAP Cutover Manager
Location: London, UK (hybrid, 4 days onsite)
Employment type: 1 Year fixed term contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to lead and manage end-to-end cutover planning, execution, and go-live activities for large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and a strong track record of coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions with minimal business disruption. Experience in SAP cloud solutions such as SAP Ariba and SAP SuccessFactors will be highly preferred.
Mandatory Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience (Mandatory)
- End-to-end Cutover Management experience on large SAP transformation programs
- Strong understanding of SAP deployment, go-live, and hypercare processes
- Experience managing cutover activities across business and IT teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong risk, dependency, and issue management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Cutover Planning & Governance
- Develop and maintain the overall Cutover Strategy, Approach, and Detailed Cutover Plan.
- Define cutover activities, milestones, dependencies, resources, and timelines.
- Establish governance and reporting mechanisms for cutover execution.
- Drive go-live readiness assessments and stakeholder sign-offs.

Cutover Execution
- Lead all cutover rehearsal activities and mock cutovers.
- Coordinate business, functional, technical, infrastructure, testing, security, and data migration teams.
- Manage and monitor cutover execution during go-live weekends.
- Ensure timely resolution of risks, issues, and blockers during cutover.
Data Migration & Validation
- Collaborate with Data Migration teams to ensure successful data loads and validations.
- Coordinate business validation and sign-off processes.
- Ensure reconciliation activities are completed successfully.
Risk & Dependency Management
- Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Develop contingency and rollback plans.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to project leadership when required.
Hypercare Support
- Support transition into Hypercare and Business-As-Usual operations.
- Monitor stabilization activities and closure of post-go-live issues.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of SAP project experience.
- 5+ years of Cutover Management experience.
- At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs.
- Experience coordinating global and multi-vendor delivery teams.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

Preferred Experience:
- SAP Ariba implementation or integration experience.
- SAP SuccessFactors implementation or integration experience.
- Experience in complex ERP transformation, migration, divestiture, or merger programs.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or SAP certification preferred.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
