SAP Data Migration Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to take ownership of data migration strategy and delivery across major SAP transformation programmes, including S/4HANA implementations and migrations from legacy SAP and non-SAP systems.

You will lead the end-to-end migration workstream, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams and external implementation partners to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end SAP data migration strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead data migration activities across SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
  • Define migration methodology, governance, standards and quality controls.
  • Lead the extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading of data.
  • Manage migration objects across areas such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales and Master Data.
  • Work with functional teams to define data requirements, mapping and transformation rules.
  • Lead data cleansing, reconciliation and validation activities.
  • Manage multiple mock migrations, dress rehearsals and final cutover.
  • Identify data risks, dependencies and issues and drive them through to resolution.
  • Coordinate internal teams, SI partners and third-party data specialists.
  • Provide regular reporting on migration progress, risks and readiness to senior programme leadership.
  • Establish and maintain migration documentation, controls and governance.
  • Support business teams with data ownership, stewardship and sign-off.
  • Ensure migration activities align with SAP and programme architecture, security and compliance requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
