Confidential SAP Delivery Manager Opportunity

We're working on a confidential SAP Delivery Manager opportunity with a major international organisation going through a large-scale ERP transformation.

This is not a “keep the lights on” SAP role.

It is a proper delivery leadership position, owning SAP rollout activity across multiple business units, geographies, and operating environments. You’ll be responsible for making sure major SAP programmes are delivered properly: on time, within budget, with strong governance, clear stakeholder alignment, and real business adoption.

The role will suit someone who has been close to large SAP ECC / S/4HANA rollouts, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or complex global business environment. You’ll be working closely with senior business and IT leadership, managing external delivery partners / system integrators, driving programme governance, and helping the business move towards a standardised SAP template rather than allowing every region or entity to drift into its own version of the process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What makes this interesting:

This is a high-impact role inside a global SAP transformation where the decisions you make will directly affect how multiple parts of the business operate. You won’t just be tracking project plans. You’ll be shaping delivery, challenging partners, managing risk, driving adoption, and making sure the programme delivers value after go-live.

The role will involve:

  • Owning end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout delivery across multiple entities
  • Managing delivery quality, governance, risk, budget, and programme outcomes
  • Building and executing integrated delivery plans across scope, timelines, resources, and budget
  • Working with senior stakeholders across business and IT
  • Managing external SAP partners / SIs and holding them accountable for delivery
  • Driving standardisation through adoption of a common SAP template
  • Supporting business change, user adoption, and post-go-live value realisation
  • Running governance forums, steering meetings, escalation routes, and decision-making processes

The background I’m looking for:

  • Strong SAP programme / delivery management experience
  • Experience with large-scale SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA rollouts
  • Background delivering across multiple countries, entities, sites, or business units
  • Strong SI / vendor management experience
  • Confident managing senior business stakeholders
  • Comfortable owning governance, risk, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Manufacturing, engineering, industrial, supply chain, or complex global business experience would be a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel when required

This is likely to be contract to hire, so it would suit someone open to proving themselves in the role and potentially converting into a longer-term leadership position.

The end client is confidential at this stage, but it is a serious global business with a major SAP roadmap ahead of them.

If this sounds like the kind of programme you should be leading, send me a message and I can share more detail.
