SAP Enterprise AI Analyst
Location: London/Manchester/Birmingham
Salary: Competitive salary and package (Depending on level of experience)
Career Level: Consultant/Associate Manager
About the Role
As an analyst on the in Accenture’s SAP Business Group, you will support the build and deployment of the next-generation SAP enterprise AI platform. Working under direction from senior engineers, you will contribute to specific components of the Enterprise AI stack — BTP service configuration, ingestion pipeline runs, extractor job scheduling, and citation validation — on live client engagements. You will receive weekly task direction, provide project-specific status updates, and develop deep expertise in a focused area of the platform.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP services: HANA Cloud, Object Store, Job Scheduler, and CAP runtime — sufficient to provision, configure, and monitor instances under senior guidance.
- Practical understanding of RAG pipelines: how documents are chunked, embedded, tagged by domain and provenance, and loaded into a vector and graph store.
- Scripting capability (Python or Node.js) for ingestion tooling, extraction validation, and automated spot-checks against the Cortex graph and citation layer.
- Understanding of data masking and scrubbing requirements: able to apply agreed masking rules to extraction output before files enter the Enterprise AI object store vault.
- Attention to quality in citation validation: able to spot-check cited answers back to source documents and flag defects — a confident answer with no citation is a defect.
- Familiarity with enterprise security basics: egress rules, role-based access, and service key management in a BTP subaccount context.
- Able to work alongside functional and basis teams to gather source inventory details, confirm data owners, and document extraction scope per the agreed ingestion checklist.
- Structured and methodical approach to repetitive technical tasks: ingestion runs, delta scheduling, health checks, and smoke tests executed consistently and to a documented standard.
- Clear written and verbal communication for project-specific status updates and issue escalation to senior engineers and the delivery lead.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Set Yourself Apart
- Exposure to SAP BTP through academic, intern, or early-career project work — any hands-on configuration of HANA Cloud, CAP services, or BTP cockpit tooling is an advantage.
- Experience running or supporting a data ingestion or ETL pipeline in any technology context — the discipline of parse, validate, load, and verify transfers directly to Cortex ingestion work.
- Hands-on use of an LLM API (any provider) in a project or personal context: prompt construction, response parsing, and understanding of why grounding and citation matter for enterprise use.
- Exposure to SAP ECC or S/4HANA internals — data dictionary, transaction codes, configuration tables, or master data structures — even from a functional or testing background.
- Contribution to shared documentation: test logs, ingestion run records, citation spot-check reports, or setup notes that make the next deployment faster for the team.
- Genuine interest in enterprise AI and SAP technology — curious about how grounded knowledge planes, agentic delivery, and graph-based reasoning apply to real transformation programmes.
