SAP FICO Lead | Bedford (Hybrid)
Our client is looking for an experienced SAP Finance professional to take ownership of their SAP Finance landscape within a growing international business.
Working closely with Finance, Technology, and an outsourced SAP support partner, you'll play a key role in shaping the SAP roadmap, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the platform continues to evolve to support business growth.
This is a broad role that combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and solution design with oversight of day-to-day support and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as the functional owner for SAP Finance.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Define and prioritise the SAP Finance roadmap.
- Manage the relationship with the external SAP support partner.
- Review, challenge, and approve solution designs and enhancements.
- Support SAP projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new SAP capabilities.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and Finance best practice.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong SAP Finance expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have:
- 10+ years' SAP Finance experience.
- Strong SAP FICO / S/4HANA knowledge.
- Experience delivering SAP implementations or major transformation programmes.
- End-user experience within a complex organisation.
- Previous consulting or implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes.
- Experience working with outsourced SAP support partners.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
