SAP FICO Lead Consultant

On-Site

Contract

Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions for a leading global automotive manufacturer. The role focuses on enabling financial transformation, regulatory compliance, management reporting, profitability analysis, and seamless integration of finance processes across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, sales, and aftersales operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse business requirements across Finance and Controlling functions.
  • Design and configure SAP FICO solutions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation and migration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize financial processes and controls.
  • Integrate SAP FICO with SD, MM, PP, EWM, and Treasury modules.
  • Conduct fit-gap workshops and define future-state finance operating models.
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate developments with technical teams.
  • Support financial closing activities, testing cycles, UAT, and go-live deployments.
  • Provide production support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and corporate governance requirements.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling processes.
  • Hands-on experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounting.
  • Deep knowledge of Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Experience with financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Strong integration experience with SAP SD, MM, PP, and other logistics modules.
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry environments.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and manage senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong functional design, testing, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

  • SAP Central Finance (CFIN) experience.
  • SAP Group Reporting and Consolidation knowledge.
  • SAP Treasury and Risk Management exposure.
  • SAP BPC, SAC, or Analytics Cloud experience.
  • SAP Activate methodology certification.
  • Experience in global finance transformation programmes.
