Associate Director – SAP Finance Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Director – SAP Finance Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex digital transformation initiatives, helping organisations modernise their finance functions through innovative SAP solutions. You will play a key role in shaping finance architectures, advising senior stakeholders, and leading high-performing teams to deliver business-critical outcomes.

Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, drive best practices, and contribute to the growth of SAP Finance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As an SAP Finance Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the architecture, design, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programmes.
  • Developing finance transformation roadmaps and implementation strategies that maximise business value while minimising delivery risk.
  • Facilitating high-level and detailed design workshops to gather business requirements and define future-state processes.
  • Designing end-to-end Finance solutions aligned with architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Leading teams of SAP consultants and solution specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensuring Finance solutions integrate seamlessly with the wider enterprise technology landscape.
  • Producing and reviewing functional specifications where custom development is required.
  • Supporting business development activities, solution shaping, and proposal development.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Contributing to capability development, thought leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP practice.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programmes in an architecture or solution leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Finance and S/4HANA configuration, design principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with SAP deployment approaches including Central Finance, Public Cloud, Private Cloud, or equivalent solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Finance business processes and SAP Finance innovations.
  • Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting business development, sales pursuits, and solution proposals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and managing complex programme deliverables.
