SAP Finance Change Manager
Location: Remote - Occasional Travel Required
Contract: Freelance - Outside IR35
Start: ASAP
The Opportunity
We are supporting a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Change Manager to lead business change, readiness and adoption activities across the Finance workstream. This is a key role within a large-scale transformation, working closely with Finance stakeholders, SAP functional teams and the wider programme to ensure the organisation is prepared for the transition to S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Change Management activities across the SAP Finance workstream.
- Develop and execute change, communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Assess business impacts and identify key areas requiring change.
- Drive business readiness and adoption across Finance teams.
- Coordinate and support UAT and business acceptance activities.
- Develop training materials, user guidance and communications.
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders, project teams and SAP functional consultants.
- Support cutover, go-live, hypercare and ongoing adoption.
- Identify resistance to change and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide clear reporting on change readiness, risks and adoption to programme leadership.

Required Experience
- Strong experience in SAP Change Management.
- Previous experience working on SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Good understanding of SAP Finance / S/4HANA Finance processes.
- Experience delivering business readiness, communications and training activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience coordinating UAT and supporting business adoption.
- Ability to work effectively across Finance, IT and business teams.
