Role: SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant – Cardiff, UK
Location: Cardiff (Nantgarw), Wales, UK
Experience: 7+ years
Contract: 6-month contract
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Start: Immediate

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant with strong SAP ECC production support experience. The consultant will support Finance operations, investigate recurring issues, identify manual/rework activities, and assess process and system constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on SAP ECC FI production support, with CO capability where applicable.
- Perform issue triage, investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination.
- Work closely with business users and super users to understand operational challenges.
- Identify causes of manual processing, rework, workarounds, spreadsheet dependencies, and approval delays.
- Review reporting and interface complexity affecting Finance operations.
- Analyze ticket trends and recurring production issues.
- Participate in findings reviews and prioritize assessment areas.
- Document findings and contribute to Phase 1 report-out and plan of action.
- Recommend improvements aligned with SAP standard best practices.

Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of SAP ECC FI experience
- Strong SAP FI production support/stabilization experience
- CO experience/capability preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills
- Experience in continuous improvement
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation
- Able to work 3 days onsite in Cardiff/Nantgarw
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
