Purpose of the Role
The SAP Finance Transformation – Technology Delivery Lead is accountable for driving the successful end-to-end delivery of SAP Finance transformation initiatives, with particular focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, and SAP BTP. This role acts as the technology delivery owner across complex Finance programmes — ensuring solution design, data, integrations, testing, and deployment activities are aligned, orchestrated, and delivered effectively.
Your Responsibilities
Programme & Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end technology delivery of SAP Finance transformation programmes including S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Treasury.
- Own and manage integrated delivery plans across design, build, integrations, data migration, testing, and cutover.
- Drive governance, RAID management, scope control, and dependency tracking.

Technology & Solution Alignment
- Ensure SAP Finance solutions align to enterprise architecture standards.
- Validate technical designs and non-functional requirements.
- Translate Finance business requirements into structured delivery outcomes.
Data, Integration & Environment Management
- Oversee Finance data migration cycles and quality gates.
- Coordinate integration build/testing across CPI, APIs, banking, tax engines.
- Manage landscape planning and environment readiness.
Vendor & Partner Governance
- Manage system integrators and partners to quality and SLAs.
- Support design reviews and solution validation.
Testing, Cutover & Release Readiness
- Lead SIT, UAT, regression and performance testing cycles.
- Own cutover planning and deployment readiness.
- Ensure documentation and training materials are complete.
Finance Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as primary technology interface to Finance process owners.
- Provide reporting and readiness assessments.
Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Essential
- Experience delivering SAP Finance transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Treasury).
- Expertise in SAP technical delivery: data, integrations, cloud.
- Strong governance and communication skills.
- Hybrid/cloud SAP experience.
