SAP ILM Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM Technical Architect to lead the design and execution of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) architecture for the SAP BRIM Archiving Project.

The ideal candidate must have proven, hands-on experience working as an SAP ILM Technical Architect, with strong expertise in SAP ILM, SAP Data Archiving, retention and disposition strategies, and complex SAP BRIM/S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ILM Architecture & Design

  • Own the end-to-end SAP ILM technical architecture for the SAP BRIM Archiving initiative.

SAP ILM & Data Archiving

  • Design and oversee implementation of SAP ILM and data archiving solutions across applicable SAP BRIM and S/4HANA components.
  • Ensure ILM architecture considers business access requirements for archived information.

  • Partner with SAP BRIM functional and technical teams to identify high-volume business and technical data requiring lifecycle management.

Compliance & Governance

  • Translate business, legal, regulatory, audit, and records-management requirements into appropriate SAP ILM technical designs.
  • Align the ILM architecture with enterprise data-retention and information-governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience as an SAP ILM Technical Architect is mandatory.
  • Deep technical expertise in SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).
  • Strong experience with SAP Data Archiving and enterprise data-lifecycle strategies.
  • Experience designing and delivering SAP ILM solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BRIM landscapes and the data lifecycle/archiving considerations associated with high-volume transactional environments.
  • Hands-on experience defining ILM architecture, retention strategies, archiving approaches, and technical implementation patterns.
  • Strong understanding of ILM policies, retention management, information governance, and disposition requirements.
