SAP Integration & Full Stack Developer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Integration & Full Stack Developer based in United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a developer who can bridge SAP integration, APIs, backend services, frontend applications, and third-party enterprise platforms.
You will design and deliver end-to-end solutions connecting SAP, Zoho, and other business systems across diverse technical environments.
The role combines hands-on development with integration architecture, data transformation, API security, troubleshooting, and production support.
You will work with technologies including SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and modern frontend frameworks.
A key part of the role is determining the right integration approach for both API-enabled and legacy systems, including file-based, SFTP, webhook, and database integrations.
You will collaborate with technical, functional, and business stakeholders while helping strengthen internal capabilities through documentation, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
This position is ideal for a versatile engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and building reliable applications across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
Accountabilities
- SAP Integration Development: Develop, configure, maintain, test, and monitor integrations using SAP Integration Suite (SAP Cloud Integration/CPI), connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Zoho, and other enterprise applications.
- API Development & Management: Design, develop, consume, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs while applying sound principles of API architecture, lifecycle management, security, authentication, authorization, and monitoring.
- Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain backend services, APIs, frontend applications, and supporting components using technologies such as Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, React, Angular, or SAP UI5.
- Enterprise Integration: Create reliable integrations between SAP, Zoho CRM, other Zoho applications, and third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and other appropriate technologies.
- Non-API Integrations: Develop alternative integration solutions for systems without standard APIs, including SFTP, file-based exchanges, scheduled data transfers, database connectivity, webhooks, and other suitable approaches.
- Integration Architecture: Evaluate business and technical requirements and select appropriate integration patterns based on system capabilities, limitations, security considerations, data requirements, and overall architecture.
- Data Transformation: Work with JSON, XML, OData, HTTP, REST, SOAP, and related protocols and formats, implementing mapping, transformation, routing, filtering, validation, and error-handling processes.
- Security: Implement and maintain secure integration solutions using OAuth 2.0, certificates, authentication, authorization, and other API and enterprise security mechanisms.
- Testing & Production Support: Develop, test, debug, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integration flows, APIs, and application services while performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve connectivity between SAP, Zoho, and other enterprise applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional teams, developers, architects, business stakeholders, and external technology teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering integration architecture, configurations, interfaces, workflows, troubleshooting procedures, deployment processes, and support guidelines.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, monitoring, and production support while following development and integration best practices.
- Knowledge Transfer: Train and mentor internal team members on SAP Integration Suite, APIs, integration patterns, troubleshooting, monitoring, development practices, and long-term maintenance.
- Capability Building: Help internal teams develop the skills and confidence required to independently maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations and applications.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
