Are you an experienced SAP Integration Suite Developer looking for a role where you can genuinely influence technology strategy and enterprise-wide transformation?
At Tarmac, we're embarking on exciting digital initiatives and are looking for a talented SAP Integration Suite Developer to join our Technology team. This is an opportunity to become the technical lead for SAP integrations and APIs, working on major business-critical projects within a complex and evolving SAP landscape.
You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing and delivering integration solutions that connect our SAP ecosystem with a wide range of business applications and third-party systems.
What You'll Be Doing
As our SAP Integration Suite Developer, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading SAP Integration Suite developments across key business transformation programmes
- Designing and delivering robust integration solutions within a complex SAP environment
- Owning and driving Tarmac's API development and integration strategy
- Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Leading integration workshops and engaging with stakeholders across the business
- Managing and delivering both large-scale projects and smaller enhancement initiatives
- Ensuring best practice development standards and integration methodologies are followed
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite
- Strong experience with ABAP Proxies and RFC debugging
- Expertise configuring and supporting adapters including:
- IDOC
- RFC
- JDBC
- File
- Proxy
- SOAP
- HTTP
- REST
- Proven experience integrating SAP with third-party systems
- Experience delivering end-to-end SAP integration projects from design through to support
- Strong understanding of structured development and project delivery methodologies
- Experience facilitating integration requirement workshops
- Ability to lead and influence API strategy and best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Passion for learning and adopting new SAP technologies

Desirable Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline
- SAP PI/PO experience (7.5 preferred)
- Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP and REST
- SAP BPM and BPMN process modelling experience
- Understanding of B2B and EDI standards
- SAP Gateway and OData exposure
- Java/J2EE or JavaScript development experience
- SAP functional knowledge across modules such as FI, MM and SD
- SAP ABAP knowledge
- ITIL certification or awareness
- SAP Certification
