SAP Lead Automation Test Engineer – Sogeti

With a hands-on culture and close client proximity, we’re now looking for a SAP Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice.
This role ensures alignment with business goals and drives impactful value creation for our clients.
Hybrid Working Model
Your work location will vary to meet business and role needs—blending company offices, client sites, and home. Full-time remote work (100% from home) is not permitted for this role.

Your Role
Essential Responsibilities
- Gain deep experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA testing, focusing on HR, procurement, or related processes.
- Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAP applications and integrations.
- Apply strong expertise in automation testing tools such as:
- Tricentis Tosca
- Selenium
- Worksoft Certify
- UFT (QTP)
- TestComplete
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks tailored for SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA using manifold automation tools and frameworks.
- Lead a team of automation engineers, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
- Integrate automation assets with CI/CD pipelines using tools like:
- Jenkins
- Azure DevOps
- GitLab CI
- Manage test automation assets in Git-based code repositories and ensure version control integrity.
- Oversee defect management processes and adherence to test lifecycles.
- Utilize test management and defect tracking tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- ALM/Quality Center
- qTest
- Ensure testing processes remain aligned with project plans.
- Lead automation testing efforts, producing compliance reports for phases like:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across levels, providing guidance and facilitating SAP test automation maturations.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance. This requires:
- Five continuous years of UK residency
- No gaps exceeding 28 days within this period.

Key Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end (E2E) SAP automation testing (internal SAP and non-SAP integrations).
- Extensive knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA modules, including:
- Employees Central
- Recruitment
- Onboarding
- Finance
- Procurement
- Materials Management
- Supply Chain
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as:
- Tricentis Tosca
- Selenium
- Worksoft Certify
- UFT
- TestComplete
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for integrating automation assets with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- ALM/Quality Center
- qTest
- Ability to generate transparent reporting for stakeholders, including metrics, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate collaborative problem-solving environments and expertise in mentoring team members.
- Compliance with test life cycle management, risk and issue identification, and reporting processes.
- ISTQB®/ISEB Certification (Foundation or above) preferred but willing to pursue.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various project locations.
