Position: SAP MM Architect

Employment Type: Contract
Start: ASAP (August/September 2026)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 3 days per week office)

Role – A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced SAP MM Architect to take a key role within a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.

You will provide solution architecture and functional leadership across SAP Materials Management (MM), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Procurement and Inventory Management, designing scalable solutions and ensuring successful integration across the wider SAP landscape.

The programme incorporates greenfield implementation, rollout and enhancement activities within an SAP S/4HANA with RISE environment, including the provisioning and configuration of new applications to support SAP standard retail functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the solution architecture and design for SAP MM / Materials Management.
  • Design scalable Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and procurement solutions within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP functional and technical solutions.
  • Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design and blueprinting activities.
  • Define end-to-end procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Lead integration design across SAP MM, SD, PP and FI/CO.
  • Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and external applications, including SAP Ariba.
  • Provide technical and functional direction for ABAP developments and enhancements.
  • Provide guidance around SAP Fiori applications.
  • Lead and support data migration activities.
  • Support SIT, UAT, performance testing and go-live activities.
  • Provide architectural governance and ensure solutions align with SAP S/4HANA best practices.

Key Skills:

  • 7–10+ years of SAP experience.
  • 5+ years specialising in SAP MM.
  • Strong SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • Strong Inventory Management, MRP and valuation knowledge.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
