What we do
The Analytics Business Unit provides consulting, implementation, training, architecture, and installation services for profitability and sustainability management based on SAP analytics solutions, including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC), and other related solutions. We co-develop the SAP PaPM application and content packages, providing standard functionality for various use cases and industries.
Our team combines functional, technical, and industry expertise in areas such as cost allocations, product and service costing, IT costing, financial planning and budgeting, planning simulation, intercompany transfer pricing, tax calculations, funds and liquidity transfer pricing, cost-to-serve, and sustainability. We help clients across industries become more profitable and sustainable, increase operational transparency and control, and create a better basis for decision-making. As part of a global, diverse, and inspiring team, you will have the opportunity to extend your personal and professional capabilities while working for a leading strategic SAP partner.
What you will do
- Act as a key pre-sales and solution expert for SAP PaPM and related Analytics solutions, supporting opportunities from initial customer discussions through solution positioning, scoping and proposal development.
- Work closely with Country Manager, BU Managers, SAP, partners and internal teams to identify, develop and progress Analytics opportunities across existing and new customers.
- Lead or support customer discovery sessions, solution workshops, demonstrations and presentations, translating customer requirements into clear business and solution propositions.
- Develop compelling proposals, solution concepts, effort estimates and responses to RFPs/RFIs together with consulting, architecture and delivery teams.
- Clearly communicate the business value of SAP PaPM and Analytics solutions beyond their technical functionality.
- Act as a senior solution and customer-facing anchor for selected ongoing PaPM / Analytics projects when required, providing continuity between pre-sales and delivery.
- Participate in key project milestones, design reviews, quality reviews and steering discussions where appropriate, helping ensure that the solution remains aligned with the original business objectives and customer expectations.
- Support the transition from pre-sales into delivery by ensuring that assumptions, scope, solution architecture, commitments and customer expectations are clearly understood by the implementation team.
- Help identify delivery risks, scope changes and potential follow-on opportunities during ongoing engagements, working closely with project and account leadership.
- Provide hands-on functional or technical support to strategic projects where necessary, without necessarily becoming part of the day-to-day delivery team.
- Continuously develop knowledge of SAP PaPM, SAP Analytics Cloud, AI and SAP's evolving Analytics and Finance portfolio.
- Support selected internal business activities such as recruiting, enablement, knowledge sharing and solution development where relevant.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
