Starting salary £35,200 rising to £39,000 when role triggers are met/ H20

Full-time and fixed term contract until 30 June 2027

37.50 – multi-shift pattern
The Opportunity
As an SAP Power User & Trainer (Inventory Record Accuracy), you will play a critical role in preparing the business for SAP implementation by building the capability and confidence of end users. You will develop into an SAP Power User, becoming the subject matter expert for Inventory Record Accuracy processes, with deep knowledge of SAP transactions, workflows, and operational requirements. Alongside this, you will design and deliver structured training, develop standardised learning materials and process documentation, and support successful adoption to create lasting capability beyond go-live.
Phased Delivery Model
- Phase 1: Build (Aug–Dec 2026 | Day-Shift)
- Develop capability through blended learning (digital, classroom, and practical application).
- Create consistent training materials, standard work, and process documentation aligned to business needs.
- Phase 2: Deliver (Jan–May 2027 | Day-Shift)
- Deliver structured end-user training across all shifts, ensuring readiness ahead of Go-Live.
- Provide active support during rollout and hypercare.
- Phase 3: Sustain (Post Go-Live | Multi-Shift)
- Return to your substantive role while continuing to act as a departmental Power User, supporting ongoing training, coaching, and capability development.
What You Will Do:
As SAP Power User & Trainer, your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the departmental SAP Power User for Inventory Record Accuracy, applying functional expertise to support end users, resolve issues, and promote standard ways of working.
- Design and deliver engaging training across classroom, virtual, and on-the-job formats, developing and maintaining training materials, standard work, job aids, and process documentation to support end-user readiness for SAP.
- Collaborate with business leads and stakeholders to ensure training and support activities align with operational requirements.
- Gather feedback, monitor training effectiveness, and identify opportunities to improve user capability, processes, and learning solutions.
- Support SAP deployment activities, including rollout, hypercare, and the transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Ensure training materials, processes, and activities meet quality, compliance, and audit requirements.

- Inventory Record Accuracy Functional Expertise: Demonstrates strong knowledge of inventory control, inventory accuracy, stock management, and related operational processes. Able to explain processes clearly, identify issues, support problem resolution, and promote compliance with standard ways of working.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with stakeholders to align training with business needs and communicates complex processes in a clear, simple way that drives understanding, engagement, and adoption. Uses feedback to improve learning and user capability.
- Adaptability: Quickly builds understanding of SAP Inventory Record Accuracy processes and business operations, adapts approach to meet changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and uses digital tools confidently.
