As part of our continued growth in SAP transformation services, we are seeking an experienced SAP Programme Manager to lead large-scale SAP programmes and strategic transformation initiatives for global clients.
The Role
As an SAP Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end governance, planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex SAP programmes. You will act as the senior leader across business, technology, functional, and regional teams, ensuring programme objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, risk management expertise, and proven experience leading global SAP transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Governance
- Establish and lead programme governance frameworks, ensuring effective oversight, decision-making, and alignment to business objectives.
- Own programme scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria across multiple workstreams.
- Define programme reporting structures, quality gates, governance forums, and delivery standards.
- Drive programme execution while ensuring alignment to strategic business outcomes.
Programme Planning & Delivery
- Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, roadmaps, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee regional, functional, and technical workstreams to ensure successful execution against agreed timelines.
- Monitor programme performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure consistent delivery excellence across all phases of the SAP programme lifecycle.

Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Serve as the primary interface between senior business stakeholders, programme sponsors, delivery teams, and external partners.
- Provide regular programme updates, executive reporting, and strategic recommendations.
- Facilitate key governance meetings, steering committees, and decision-making forums.
- Build trusted relationships across client and internal leadership teams.
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Maintain and govern programme RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
- Proactively identify delivery risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure programme readiness and successful transition across deployment phases.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against approved business cases.
- Monitor programme expenditure and highlight deviations, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead resource planning and capacity management across global delivery teams.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and support for critical programme workstreams.
Methodology & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and Wipro delivery governance standards.
- Drive programme quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote best practices across programme management, delivery controls, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Experience
- Extensive experience managing large-scale SAP transformation programmes.
- Proven track record delivering complex global SAP implementations across multiple regions and business units.
- Strong understanding of SAP delivery methodologies including SAP Activate.
- Experience managing programme budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial governance.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Programme Management experience across SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent programme management certification.
- Experience working within global consulting or system integration environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
