Job Description

SAP Programme Delivery Manager

Hybrid - 3 days in London

Senior SAP delivery leader with responsibility for shaping, governing, and delivering a strategic SAP change portfolio across ERP, supply chain, data, integration, and business transformation initiatives.

  • Combines strong programme leadership with a deep understanding of SAP platforms and delivery principles, bringing the credibility to engage confidently with architects, functional consultants, development teams, suppliers, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Able to "speak the SAP language" while translating complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes and decisions.
  • Acts as the key point of alignment between business demand, technology strategy, and delivery capacity, ensuring investments are prioritised effectively and resources are focused on the initiatives that deliver the greatest value.
  • Recognised for making pragmatic decisions, balancing short-term business needs with long-term platform health and upgrade readiness.
  • A trusted leader who is prepared to challenge assumptions, push back on unrealistic expectations and influence stakeholders when priorities, timelines or funding do not support successful delivery.
  • Focuses on ensuring the right projects are delivered at the right time, with the right level of investment and the right people assigned to them.
  • Builds strong relationships across technology and business teams, winning support through credibility, collaboration, and clear direction rather than hierarchy.
  • Creates an environment where delivery teams understand the bigger picture, remain focused on outcomes and are empowered to raise risks and issues early.
  • Experienced in leading technical debt remediation, Clean Core initiatives, ERP upgrades, continuous improvement programmes, and large-scale business change.
  • Strong track record of managing complex dependencies, third-party suppliers and multi-vendor environments while maintaining governance, quality, and financial control.
  • Known for forward planning and proactive portfolio management, developing clear roadmaps that anticipate future business and technology requirements, reduce delivery risk and ensure SAP platforms remain scalable, supportable, and aligned to organisational strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
