The Role:

SAP Project Delivery Experience

  • Act as a single point of contact for S4 HANA delivery.
  • Experience of Scaled Agile Scrum S4 HANA and BTP delivery with Developers and Teams distributed across multiple geographies.
  • Manages the delivery execution of an agreed scope of work.
  • Develop and secure approval for an agreed scope to be delivered to a baseline schedule and within an approved budget/ with assigned resources.
  • Manages the project, maintain the project plan and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Manage project human and financial resources.

Area of Responsibility

  • Agile Scrum delivery of Automotive Industry Standard S4 HANA and BTP Solution/ Integration in a SAP Activate Framework.
  • Manage the delivery of the core plant and operational enablers including but not restricted to – Applications, IT Services, Infrastructure for S4 HANA, BTP, BW HANA EWM etc. and End Points.
  • Managing the deployment of key manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Managing the Integration of ERP to other systems including PLM, MES etc.
  • Support and actively contribute to established governance functions across the customer organisation.
  • Manage Risk, Issues and Inter-dependencies together with Change and Release Management at project level and establish a compliance mechanism at project level.
  • Create Project documentation and artefacts using customer standard templates and available online tools and framework e.g. SAP Activate etc.
  • Manage the plant dependencies including - Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operation and Support Functions of Finance Purchasing, Sales and Distribution.
  • Provide guidance to typical project team members: business analysts; business architects; solution architects; developers; testers giving clear understanding of project / programme expectations.
  • Manage teams across multiple Value streams, including Source to Pay, Plan to Manufacture, Order to Cash, Vehicle Management Systems, Record to Report, Warehousing and Logistics.
  • Execute onshore/ offshore resource coordination.
  • Ensure that project plans and schedules are robust and optimise project resources and timescales and are communicated effectively to the programme and project teams.
  • Responsible for people management and resourcing of the project.
  • May manage other Project Managers, Change Consultants and Delivery Teams.
  • Manage Customer Stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and scope out the integration of existing and new systems into the plant (SAP, MES, PLM, Legacy).
  • Define the roadmaps and manage delivery demands, ensuring alignment between business & IT execution.

  • Application of various Project Management/Programme Management/IT Delivery Management concepts such as PMP, Prince2, MSP, Agile, Scrum, as well as Waterfall.
  • Experienced manager having worked in rapidly changing, pressurised and diverse domains within Automotive and / or Manufacturing and IT Programme Management roles.
  • Enterprise IT systems in an automotive manufacturer.
  • Proven business analysis and vendor & stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience within both cloud technical infrastructure and application development.
  • Proven planning and thinking skills, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Able to build project teams' capabilities through coaching and providing new challenges while considering skills, knowledge, experience, existing workloads and aspirations.
  • Disciplined and experienced in work completion of customer billing processes.
