Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant to support the design, implementation, optimisation, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
This role will work closely with warehouse operations, supply chain teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver efficient warehouse processes, improve inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement across logistics operations.

SAP EWM Solution Design & Delivery
- Design, configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable warehouse management solutions
- Support end-to-end warehouse processes including:
- Inbound logistics
- Outbound logistics
- Internal warehouse movements
- Inventory management
Warehouse Process Optimisation
- Configure and optimise:
- Putaway strategies
- Picking strategies
- Replenishment processes
- Slotting and rearrangement
- Wave management
- Support warehouse order creation rules and labour management processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best-practice SAP EWM solutions
Integration & Automation
- Integrate SAP EWM with:
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP QM
- SAP LE
- Support integration with warehouse automation technologies including:
- RF devices
- Conveyors
- Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
- Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
Testing, Support & Training
- Support:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Cutover and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Provide:
- End-user training
- SOP documentation
- Knowledge transfer sessions

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Warehouse Operations
- Supply Chain teams
- Manufacturing stakeholders
- Technical delivery teams
- Support BAU operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warehouse execution
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM
- Proven experience delivering:
- SAP EWM implementations
- Rollouts
- Production support engagements
- Strong understanding of:
- Warehouse management processes
- Logistics and inventory management
- Warehouse operations within manufacturing environments
- Experience configuring:
- Storage types and warehouse structures
- Work centres and resources
- Packaging specifications
- RF processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP EWM solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
