SAP S4 HANA Project Manager
12 Month contract
3/2 hybrid with flex hours
ABERDEEN based – presence required weekly in the Aberdeen office.
We are looking for candidates who have experience with end to end delivery of large scale SAP ERP SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives on turning complex programmes into successful outcomes. Working closely with our implementation partner and internal stakeholders, you will lead delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle, from solution design through to go-live and hypercare.
You will act as a trusted point of coordination and influence, bringing together technical specialists, business SMEs and external partners to ensure the programme delivers tangible value. Strong Communication skills will be key, enabling clear decision-making, alignment and progress across multiple workstreams.
The role requires a collaborative leader who encourages Learning, shares knowledge and supports teams through change. You will create an environment where people feel confident to contribute, challenge constructively and continuously improve.
You will be trusted to take ownership of project delivery, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and ensure high standards of quality, governance and execution throughout the programme.

What we are looking for in potential candidates:
We are seeking a proven project leader with deep SAP and upstream oil and gas experience, capable of driving complex transformation programmes while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Leadership & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation programme.
- Coordinate internal teams, business subject matter experts and external implementation partners to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ensure project plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery risks are actively managed and communicated.
- Drive testing, data migration, cutover and go-live readiness activities to support a successful transition.
- Provide leadership and challenge to delivery partners, holding them accountable for quality, performance and delivery commitments.
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across the programme.
Experience & Qualifications
- Significant SAP ERP project management experience, including large-scale SAP S/4HANA deployments.
- Strong background delivering technology transformation projects within the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Experience across key business functions including Finance, Joint Venture Accounting, Supply Chain, Materials Management and Asset or Maintenance Management.
- Demonstrated success managing system integrators and complex multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
- Strong planning, risk management, governance and resource coordination capabilities.
- A collaborative leadership style with high levels of integrity, professionalism and stakeholder credibility.
