Role Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EPPM Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) solutions. The role will be responsible for enabling efficient project planning, execution, resource management, cost control, investment management, and project governance across complex business and capital projects. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to align project management processes with SAP best practices and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP S/4HANA EPPM solution design and implementation activities.
- Gather and analyze business requirements for project and portfolio management processes.
- Configure and optimize SAP EPPM functionalities including project planning, portfolio management, resource management, and project execution.
- Design project governance frameworks, stage-gate processes, and project performance reporting.
- Support capital project management, program management, and investment planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to ensure integrated business processes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.
- Support project costing, budgeting, forecasting, and progress tracking requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications and support development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Lead workshops, user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Support data migration, system integration, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required
- 10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) and/or SAP S/4HANA EPPM.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and project governance.
- Experience managing complex project portfolios and capital programs.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, or asset-intensive industries is preferred.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Preferred Certifications
- SAP S/4HANA Project Systems or EPPM Certification
- PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
