SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant
Location: Birmingham / Liverpool / Wolverhampton / Solihull, UK
Work Model: 5 days onsite
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £530–£545 per day inside IR35
Shift Pattern: Morning / Noon Shifts
Are you an experienced SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant with strong expertise in warehouse management, SAP EWM configuration, logistics processes and SAP integration? We're looking for an experienced professional to support SAP EWM design, configuration, implementation and BAU operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP EWM BAU operations and configure/optimise EWM solutions on S/4HANA
- Analyse business requirements and design solutions for inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements and inventory processes
- Configure putaway, picking strategies, replenishment, wave management and warehouse order creation
- Configure EWM master data including storage types, warehouse structure, work centres, resources and packaging specifications
- Support RF processes, labour management and warehouse operations
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, MM, SD, PP, QM and LE
- Support integration with warehouse automation technologies such as RF, conveyors, ASRS and AGVs
- Troubleshoot SAP EWM issues, perform root-cause analysis and support system stability
- Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT and cutover activities
- Provide end-user training, SOP documentation and knowledge transfer
- Work closely with warehouse operations, business users and cross-functional IT teams

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Consultant
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
- Experience translating business requirements into SAP EWM configuration
- Hands-on experience across inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, replenishment and inventory processes
- Experience integrating EWM with MM, SD, PP, QM and LE
- Experience with SAP EWM implementation, rollout and/or production support
- Strong knowledge of RF processes and warehouse operations
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work plant-based in Birmingham, Liverpool, Wolverhampton or Solihull
- Flexibility to work morning/noon shifts

Nice to Have
- Experience with Embedded or Decentralized SAP EWM on S/4HANA
- Knowledge of Yard Management and Cross-Docking
- Experience with Slotting & Rearrangement
- Knowledge of Wave and Labour-Oriented Picking
- Experience integrating EWM with warehouse automation systems
- Understanding of Lean Warehousing and Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge of warehouse compliance and audit requirements
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
