SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect – Senior Manager
We're looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect to join a highly reputable transformation practice at Senior Manager level, playing a leading role in some of the most complex, high-profile Finance transformation programmes in the market, working directly with senior business leaders to help organisations rethink how Finance operates in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
This isn't simply a role focused on delivering SAP solutions. You'll shape client strategy, influence major transformation decisions, and help build a high-performing SAP Finance capability for the future, working at the intersection of Finance, technology, data, AI and business transformation.
The Opportunity:
As Senior Manager, you'll own solution architecture across major SAP S/4HANA Finance programmes, working closely with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders to challenge existing thinking and translate business priorities into pragmatic, scalable technology strategies. You'll operate at both the strategic and detailed architectural level, from defining the overall transformation roadmap through to ensuring individual solutions are integrated, sustainable and aligned to a clean-core approach.

- Lead Finance solution architecture for large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, from early strategy through to implementation and adoption
- Work with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders to define future-state Finance operating models, technology strategies and transformation roadmaps
- Architect integrated SAP Finance landscapes spanning General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Group Reporting, Central Finance, Project Systems and Financial Supply Chain Management
- Establish architectural direction and governance, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with SAP clean-core principles
- Lead senior-level workshops and design discussions, turning complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions
- Explore practical applications of SAP Business AI, Joule and intelligent automation to improve Finance efficiency and insight
- Contribute to major client pursuits - discovery sessions, propositions, RFPs and executive-level presentations
- Lead, coach and mentor Solution Architects and consultants, helping develop the next generation of SAP Finance leaders
- Support the growth of the wider SAP Finance practice through thought leadership and capability development
What We're Looking For
- A strong track record leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programmes in a Solution Architecture capacity
- Significant experience across areas such as Core Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Group Reporting, Central Finance, Project Systems and/or FSCM
- Strong understanding of modern SAP architecture, including S/4HANA and clean-core principles
- Confidence engaging C-suite and senior Finance stakeholders, translating complex technology into business outcomes
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with a genuine interest in coaching and developing others
- Commercial awareness and experience with business development, pursuits and proposition development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
