Role Overview
The Test Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the overall testing strategy for a complex ERP programme, ensuring all solution components — from processes to integrations — are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment. The role will cover planning, coordination, execution oversight, defect management, reporting, and alignment across multiple workstreams and business teams.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and own the programme-wide test strategy, approach and governance.
- Define test phases including UT, SIT, UAT, regression, performance testing and cutover validation.
- Prepare the master test plan, including scope, timelines, environments, entry / exit criteria, resources and tools.
- Coordinate testing activities across the programme.
- Oversee SIT, UAT and regression test execution, ensuring progress against plan.
- Manage test data requirements, test environments and preconditions for each phase.
- Review and approve test scripts, scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Establish and manage defect triage, prioritisation and resolution.
- Maintain test-related RAID items and escalate critical defects / risks to programme leadership.
- Act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters.
- Provide regular test status reporting, dashboards and quality metrics.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover validation and hypercare stabilisation.
