SAP S/4HANA Transformation Lead

Location: Stevenage

Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience

Working Model: Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week on-site, with regular travel to France and occasional travel to Italy

Security: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP professional to play a key role in a major ECC6 to S/4HANA transformation programme within a leading international defence organisation.

This is not simply a business-as-usual SAP support position. You will help shape the future SAP landscape across a multinational organisation, working across the UK, France and Italy as the business moves from its existing ECC6 environment towards S/4HANA.

Your focus will be the Procurement function, where you will take ownership of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external system integrators.

The role

  • Take ownership of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay solutions as part of a major S/4HANA transformation.
  • Help shape the future procurement solution, challenging requirements and encouraging the use of standard SAP functionality where appropriate.
  • Lead SAP changes and projects from requirements through to implementation.
  • Support the migration from ECC6 to S/4HANA, identifying potential challenges and helping ensure a smooth transition.
  • Act as a key technology partner to the Procurement function, translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
  • Work across the wider SAP programme to manage integration with areas including Finance, Manufacturing, EWM, TM and GTS.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues across the P2P landscape.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders across the UK, France and Italy.
  • Work closely with third-party implementation and systems integration partners.
  • Operate within a structured change, governance and delivery environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
