🚀 SAP Solution Architect | Lead a Major S/4HANA Transformation
📍 Hybrid | Remote with Travel to Solihull
Ready to architect the future of SAP within one of the UK's leading construction materials businesses?
Tarmac is embarking on a significant digital transformation programme, and we're looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to play a critical role in shaping and delivering our future SAP landscape.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation, influence enterprise-wide technology decisions, and drive innovation across a business that keeps Britain building.
What You'll Be Doing
As our SAP Solution Architect, you'll be at the heart of our transformation journey, leading the design, roadmap and delivery of our SAP ecosystem.
You'll:
- Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives
- Define the strategic roadmap from ECC to S/4HANA, including migration strategy and data readiness
- Design scalable, standardised SAP solutions that deliver measurable business value
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations and the wider CRH Group
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP and enterprise platforms
- Champion governance, security, compliance and architectural best practice
- Provide technical leadership to internal teams and external partners
- Explore emerging technologies including SAP BTP, AI/ML, RISE with SAP and cloud solutions
- Drive innovation and maximise ROI across the SAP estate

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a strategic thinker with deep SAP expertise and a track record of delivering complex transformation programmes.
You'll bring:
- Extensive SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA architecture experience
- Proven success leading enterprise-scale SAP transformation programmes
- End-to-end SAP S/4HANA migration experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA architecture and core business processes
- Experience across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD and PP
- SAP integration expertise including APIs, IDocs, BAPIs and OData
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and migration tooling
- Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and cloud deployment models
- Understanding of SAP security, IT controls and compliance requirements
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- SAP S/4HANA certification
- Experience with RISE with SAP
- Knowledge of TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience working in large, complex, multi-site organisations
