The Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Architect to join a major HR transformation programme at a critical stage ahead of an October go-live. This is a senior, hands-on advisory role requiring deep expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central, alongside a strong understanding of the wider SuccessFactors landscape and particularly how EC integrates with other modules and systems.
Working closely with the Head of HR IT and programme leadership, you will provide architectural oversight and guidance across cutover, production readiness, risk management and go-live execution.
Following go-live, you will support the business through hypercare and stabilisation, with the potential to remain involved in historical data migration and further Employee Central enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of HR IT and senior programme stakeholders.
- Provide architectural oversight across the SuccessFactors Employee Central landscape.
- Review and guide cutover planning, production readiness and go-live execution.
- Identify architectural and delivery risks and recommend appropriate mitigation.
- Provide senior-level technical guidance and decision support during the October go-live.
- Support investigation and resolution of issues throughout hypercare and stabilisation.
- Advise on integrations between Employee Central and the wider SuccessFactors/system landscape.
- Support the planning and execution of historical data migration following go-live.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
