What you will be doing

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned SuccessFactors professional to play a pivotal role in designing and delivering the future state of our global HR technology landscape. You'll lead the end-to-end implementation, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of Employee Central and Compensation, helping to create scalable, standardised, and business-aligned HR processes that support our long-term growth ambitions.

Working at the intersection of HR, Technology, and Business Transformation, you'll influence strategy as well as delivery, ensuring our SuccessFactors platform enables an exceptional employee experience while supporting operational excellence across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

As the SuccessFactors subject matter expert, you'll support solution design and own the successful implementation, deployment, support, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design, validation, and testing of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Compensation solutions, and leading their configuration, implementation, and deployment into production.
  • Acting as the functional and technical SME for Core HR processes and system capabilities
  • Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including Foundation Objects, Employee Data, Job Information, Compensation Information, and organisational structures.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Business Rules to support automated validations, calculations, workflows, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Manage and support Employee Central integrations with Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll, Compensation, Learning, and third-party applications, ensuring data integrity and successful end-to-end processing.
  • Analyse, investigate, and resolve integration issues, working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Coordinate and support employee data migrations, interface monitoring, and production issue resolution activities.
  • Lead or support system enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the SuccessFactors landscape.
  • Lead release and deployment activities, including impact assessments, deployment planning, change management, and production cut-over support, while supporting testing coordination and validation activities.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain release documentation, support procedures, test plans, and operational runbooks.
  • Support go-live and hypercare activities, ensuring smooth transition into BAU support.
  • Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to ensure service delivery and compliance with governance standards.

You will ideally have

We're keen to speak with professionals who have deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Compensation and who have successfully delivered transformation programmes within complex organisations.

You'll likely have experience in one of the following environments:

  • Large multinational or matrix organisations
  • Global technology businesses
  • Consulting or systems integration firms
  • HR technology transformation programmes

Experience & Expertise

  • Extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central and Compensation
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end implementations across design, build, testing, deployment, and support
  • Strong understanding of Core HR processes and HR operating models
  • Experience driving process redesign, standardisation, and optimisation through technology
  • Knowledge of integrations, security, role-based permissions, and data governance
  • Experience managing releases, environments, testing, and change activities within a SaaS environment
  • The ability to engage and influence stakeholders across HR, IT, Payroll, and senior leadership teams
  • SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central, Compensation, or related modules
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in IT, HR Systems, or related discipline
  • SuccessFactors certification (Employee Central and/or Compensation)
