Position: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant
Employment Type: Contract
Start: ASAP (August/September 2026)

Location: Dublin, UK (Mostly remote, 2 days per month in office)

Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to support the delivery, configuration and ongoing optimisation of a complex SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) environment.
This hands-on role requires strong expertise across Employee Central, Time Off, Role-Based Permissions (RBP), MDF, Position Management, Business Rules and HR data migration, supporting both project delivery and day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, leading workshops and delivering scalable SuccessFactors solutions across core HR, employee data, security, workflows, reporting and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and enhance SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including Time Off, MDF Objects, Position Management, Workflows, Business Rules and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
- Lead business/customer workshops, translating HR requirements into effective SuccessFactors EC configurations and solutions.
- Design and maintain Custom and Standard MDF Objects, configuration UI, data models, provisioning settings and scheduled jobs.
- Configure Position Management, including Position-to-Job synchronisation, position types, organisational charts and automated code generation.
- Develop workflows, alerts, business rules, notifications and employee documentation, supporting effective HR process automation.
- Manage Employee Central security and system access, including RBP groups, roles and country-specific permission criteria.
- Support Employee Central Time Off, absence management and event reason derivation across complex HR processes.

- Certified SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant with at least 2–3 end-to-end Employee Central implementations.
- Strong hands-on Employee Central configuration expertise across Foundation Objects, HRIS Elements, HRIS Sync, Standard/Background Elements and Dynamic Filters.
- Deep experience with Employee Central Time Off and Absence Management, including time types, time profiles, leave configuration and absence processes.
- Strong expertise across MDF Objects, Position Management, RBP, Workflows, Business Rules, Event Reason Derivation and Custom Hire Templates.
- Experience configuring complex employee scenarios including Global Assignments, Concurrent Employment, Contingent Workers, Dependents, Addresses, Work Permits and Personal/Global Information.
- Strong knowledge of Compensation and Pay Components, including pay structures and pay-scale structures.
- Proven Employee Central data migration experience across Foundation Objects, MDF Objects and employee data.
