SAP SF Employee Central SME

Location: London, UK
Onsite: 3 days
Rate: 500 GBP per day Inside IR35

We are seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) SME with deep expertise in Business Integration Builder (BIB) replication and EC-SAP HR integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in EC configuration, BIB-based replication, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to ensure seamless data flow between EC and SAP ECC. This role will focus on maintaining the integrity of HR data across systems, troubleshooting integration issues, and optimizing EC-SAP HR connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain EC data models, MDF objects, business rules, and workflows, ensuring accurate integration with SAP HR.
  • Configure and manage BIB configuration between EC and SAP ECC ensuring accurate employee and organizational data replication.
  • Ensure end-to-end integration between EC and SAP ECC using Compound Employee API, OData APIs, and SAP CPI.
  • Develop and maintain EC-SAP ECC integrations using SAP CPI leveraging standard and custom iFlows.
  • Proactively monitor Data Replication Monitor (DRM) and SAP logs (SLG1, SRTUTIL) to identify and resolve replication issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure data consistency and optimize integration performance.
  • Testing & Governance: Conduct SIT/UAT testing, document integration designs, and ensure compliance with SAP best practices for EC-SAP integration.

  • Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including data models, business rules, workflows, and Foundation/MDF objects.
  • Proven experience in BIB-based replication, configuring mappings between EC and SAP ECC.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP CPI, including configuring standard iFlows, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations.
  • Expertise in Compound Employee API, OData APIs, and web services for EC-SAP HR data synchronization.
  • Proficiency in integration monitoring tools (DRM, SLG1, SRTUTIL) and troubleshooting EC-SAP replication issues.
  • Excellent understanding of SAP ECC modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Payroll (PY).
  • Good ABAP debugging skills for investigating integration-related issues.
  • 5+ years of EC-SAP ECC integration experience, with at least 3 full lifecycle EC implementations involving BIB replication.
