SAP Supply Chain Change & Support Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Change & Support Specialist to join a fast-paced engineering environment on an initial 6-month contract. This is a business-facing role that will act as the key link between business users and the SAP technical support team, ensuring successful delivery of SAP changes, troubleshooting operational issues, coordinating UAT activities, and driving implementation readiness.

  • UB7 0GB (4 days per week onsite)

Pay:

  • Attractive daily rate (inside IR35)

Start Date:

  • ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate SAP Supply Chain change initiatives from demand through deployment and closure.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the external SAP support provider.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of SAP ECC6 issues and defects.
  • Manage and maintain change pipelines, delivery plans, risks, dependencies, actions, and governance activities.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, test data, defect tracking, evidence collection, and sign-off.
  • Ensure implementation readiness, including communications, training, cutover activities, and post-deployment support.
  • Provide clear status reporting, updates, recommendations, and escalation management to stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to governance and compliance requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience supporting SAP ECC6 Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Warehouse processes.
  • Proven track record of SAP change delivery, operational support, and issue resolution.
  • Experience coordinating UAT, defect management, testing evidence, and business sign-off.
  • Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and third-party support providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within structured governance and change management frameworks.

Desirable

  • SAP S/4HANA exposure.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, aviation, or complex supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot.

This role would suit a business-facing SAP Supply Chain Specialist who can confidently bridge the gap between operational users and technical teams. You will be comfortable managing change, coordinating testing activities, troubleshooting SAP issues, and ensuring successful delivery within a complex enterprise environment.
