SAP Technical Project Manager Contract

up to £600 per day | Inside IR35 | Initial 6 months

Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in Newcastle upon Tyne

TrueNorth are supporting a large UK retail organisation undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA and operational transformation.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to bring structure, visibility and predictability to technical delivery across SAP Basis, security and Azure platform teams.

The role

You will own the intake, prioritisation, planning and tracking of technical demand across a complex, multi-workstream programme. This will include environment builds and refreshes, transports, release coordination, security changes, infrastructure activity, upgrades, technical debt and cutover preparation. You will not be responsible for completing the technical work or directly managing the specialists. Your role is to manage demand, protect team capacity and give the wider programme a clear and honest view of delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
