Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP TPM Techno-Functional Consultant who combines strong functional knowledge of trade promotion and funds management with hands-on technical skills. You will design, configure, develop, and support end-to-end TPM solutions for CPG/FMCG clients, bridging business teams (Sales, Finance, Revenue Growth Management) and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Functional
- Gather and analyze requirements for trade promotion planning, execution, and settlement.
- Configure SAP TPM / CBP (Trade Promotion Management and Customer Business Planning) including fund management, promotion planning, pricing conditions, deductions, and claims.
- Design and implement processes for trade funds, promotion lifecycle, accruals, and post-promotion analysis.
- Integrate TPM with SD (Sales & Distribution), FI/CO, and Rebate Management (Condition Contract Management).
- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and user documentation.
- Lead UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.

Technical
- Develop and enhance solutions using ABAP (OO ABAP, Reports, BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Enhancement Framework).
- Build and maintain interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and SAP PI/PO or CPI.
- Configure and customize SAP TPM on S/4HANA or ECC with SAP BW integration.
- Create CDS views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 enhancements where applicable.
- Perform data migration, load, and reconciliation (LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit).
- Troubleshoot performance issues, resolve defects, and provide L2/L3 support.
Project & Stakeholder
- Work closely with business users, architects, and integration teams.
- Provide effort estimates, project plans, and status updates.
- Mentor junior consultants and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, quality standards, and change management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP TPM/CBP: promotion planning, fund management, claims and deductions, settlement, and pricing.
- Solid understanding of the Order-to-Cash cycle and trade spend management in the CPG/FMCG industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP SD, FI/CO, and condition technology.
- Experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations (or equivalent support projects).

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ABAP (classical and object-oriented), debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies: IDoc, ALE, BAPI, RFC, SOAP/REST, CPI/PI-PO.
- Exposure to SAP BW/BW4HANA reporting and analytics related to TPM.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA, CDS views, OData, and SAP Fiori is a strong advantage.
General
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in TPM, SD, or ABAP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Trade Promotion Management or SAP Cloud solutions (e.g., SAP Customer Activity Repository, Revenue Growth Management).
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe or Activate methodology.
- Experience in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
- Domain exposure in Consumer Products, Retail, or Food & Beverage.
