Role – A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced SAP WM Lead Consultant to provide application support, maintenance, incident resolution, change delivery and continuous improvement across business-critical SAP warehouse and logistics operations.
The successful consultant will have deep expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and strong knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes including inbound logistics, outbound logistics, inventory management, picking, packing, replenishment, stock transfers and physical inventory.

This is a hands-on SAP functional role requiring extensive experience within SAP application support / AMS environments, combined with strong integration knowledge across SAP MM, SD, PP and wider transportation and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 SAP WM functional support across warehouse and logistics applications.
- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement sustainable fixes and preventative actions.
- Support end-to-end warehouse processes including:
- Inbound
- Outbound
- Picking
- Packing
- Replenishment
- Stock transfers
- Inventory management
- Physical inventory
- Work across integrations between SAP WM, MM, SD, PP and transportation/logistics solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, Security, middleware and technical development teams.
- Produce detailed functional specifications for SAP enhancements.
- Work closely with ABAP teams across reports, interfaces, forms, workflows and enhancements.
- Support regression testing, UAT, release management, cutover and transport deployments.
- Monitor SAP WM process stability and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, process documentation, runbooks and user guides.
- Provide functional support to business users and key stakeholders.
- Participate in critical incident, release, month-end and on-call activities where required.
