How you'll power our business as a Saturday Cook

Are you passionate about preparing great food and delivering excellent customer service? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where quality, teamwork and customer experience are at the heart of what you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Saturday Cook to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving freshly cooked food while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation. You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service offering.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and hot food items to company standards.
  • Ensuring food is presented to a high standard and served promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
  • Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages when required.
  • Minimising food waste through effective stock rotation and portion control.
  • Delivering friendly and professional customer service.
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the site during busy trading periods.
  • Serving customers and presenting food to a high standard.
  • Completing opening and closing duties as required.

What we'll need from you

  • Previous experience working as a Cook, Chef or within a commercial kitchen or café environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Positive, reliable and hardworking with a flexible approach.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A passion for preparing quality food and delivering excellent customer service.
