Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer | SC Cleared | 5 Month Contract
📍 Derby | Hybrid, 3 days onsite
💷 Circa £500/day | Inside IR35

A leading UK aeroengine manufacturer is looking for two SC Cleared Azure Cloud Engineers to design and deliver secure, scalable Azure infrastructure supporting data intensive applications across design, engineering and manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Configure and optimise Azure data services including Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake and batch services
- Design, implement and troubleshoot end-to-end data pipelines
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML, with Terraform, Bicep, ARM or PowerShell for infrastructure as code
- Design and deliver end-to-end Azure environments for applications, data and DevOps teams, working closely with architects
- Configure App Gateway, IaaS, Azure AD, Firewall and networking in a PaaS context
- Support on-prem to cloud data migrations with security and compliance built in throughout

What you'll need
- Active SC Clearance or clear near-term eligibility
- 10+ years total experience, including 5+ years hands-on Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for data intensive solutions
- Genuine hands-on delivery with Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake or Azure database and batch services
- Strong DevOps background including IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, PowerShell) and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
- Solid Git, branching strategy and pipeline-as-code experience
